    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Unknown Pond. From a rainfall point of view Unknown Pond is a pretty normal place; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Unknown Pond in fact is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Middle Mountain is easy to spot from Unknown Pond, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Shore Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling  
   is fine on Nulhegan River, and going for a hike along the Mount Gore Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
At Unknown Pond during the warm months highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Unknown Pond. Paddling on Clyde River is so much fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Camping Area
 
               is a brilliant location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Norton Pond while you're here at Unknown Pond; it's close by.
Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Looking for something in close proximity to Unknown Pond? Lewis Pond is close by, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Gore Trail. That right there is loads of fun things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Lyndon Outing Club is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and White Caps Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains.
Getting to Sucker Brook from Unknown Pond is trouble-free, and you can hit the slopes at Burke Mountain in close proximity.
