The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. From a precipitation point of view Unknown Pond is a pretty normal place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Lyndon Outing Club are so inviting noone can resist. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. There are other places here than Unknown Pond, for example Lewis Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and

| | hit Clyde River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Norton Pond is in the neighborhood, and there are great places to look at along the Gore Trail. Why not camp at Lakeside Camping Area since you're here at Unknown Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Nulhegan River. During the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Unknown Pond. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after | |

hike on the Mount Gore Trail is always a fine adventure. All year is a nice time in the Green Mountains if you love the outdoors. White Caps Campground is a wonderful local campground, and you get a good panorama of Middle Mountain
from here. Burke Mountain is a great local ski area, and don't leave Unknown Pond without first going for a hike along the Shore Trail.
