Unknown Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. An average amount of rainfall falls at Unknown Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is commonly the driest month. Unknown Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Shore Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Unknown Pond; Lyndon Outing Club is a very popular ski area close at hand. Man, is there a lot of

| | exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Lakeside Camping Area is a good campground nearby; you can hit the slopes at Burke Mountain in close proximity. So much cool stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too good to be true. The fine people of Berlin like to hang out close by, and nearby you find the Moose Trail which is a good hiking trail. Bog in close proximity to Unknown Pond has lots of attention-grabbing things to see. Take a side visit to Madison Brook, and drift down the rapids of Nulhegan River in a kayak. On a delightful day you acquire a sight of Bull Mountain
from Unknown Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Moose River. After a long day outdoors Coos Motor Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Unknown Pond during the summer months are in the 70's.
All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Unknown Pond plunge into the-10's. You just can't envision
the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Unknown Pond has to offer. Unknown Pond is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Big Rock Campground and Store is a delightful location to camp nearby; on a good day you can take a hike along the Loon Trail.
