    A visit to Twin Ponds is always a good idea. Take a hike on the Bear Hill Trail; fine skiing awaits you at Suicide Six. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Not far from Twin Ponds, you'll hit upon Staples Pond which is a charming lake, and camping is available at Lake Champagne Campground. This is a popular place for folks from Barre; whitewater paddling is glorious on White River.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Hiking along the Barnard Trail is nice fun, and hey, Sunset Brook is a delightful local stream. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Green Mountains. There are other places here than Twin Ponds, for example Lamson Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Hollow Inn and Motel. Summertime highs at Twin Ponds commonly tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime  
               are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Twin Ponds tend to be in the 0's.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn At Maplewood is a good location to spend a night or two, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River - First Branch.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the vicinity of Twin Ponds. Williamstown Gulf is near Twin Ponds and is certainly a wonderful spot to stop at; you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Twin Farms. Twin Ponds gets a typical amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to go to in the neighborhood of Twin Ponds is Patterson and Holden Dam, and a delightful spot to camp here at Twin Ponds is Limehurst Lake.
