Twin Ponds gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Looking for something in the vicinity of Twin Ponds? Holdens Pond is close by; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Hill Trail. During the summer highs here at Twin Ponds reach the 70's       with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Twin Ponds temperatures descend to the 0's. Since you're here at Twin Ponds why not go to Williamstown Gulf, and Suicide Six is a very popular ski area close at hand. So much enjoyable stuff close to Twin Ponds, definitely remarkable. Take a hike on the Barnard Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend White River - First Branch. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at Twin Ponds. You don’t have to go far from Twin Ponds to observe the water at Patterson and Holden Dam, and Twin Ponds is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Limehurst Lake is a nice place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hollow Inn and Motel, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of White River.
