    Why not stop by Turtlehead Pond if you're passing through these parts. So much exciting stuff in the vicinity of Turtlehead Pond, simply incredible. Soar down the rapids of Winooski River in a kayak; do put some time aside to spend at Mollys Falls if you're here at Turtlehead Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Joe's Brook River offers some good whitewater, and Marshfield Municipal Forest is a tremendous local forest. For  
   the duration of the summer months at Turtlehead Pond highs are generally in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Turtlehead Pond.
Larry and Sons Campground is a great campground nearby, and do pop by Bailey Pond Dam while you're here. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. There
 
               is a glorious hiking trail near Turtlehead Pond called the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop. This lake is so wonderful. Woodbury Golf Course is a golf course near Turtlehead Pond, and Boulder Beach is a beach close by that you can stop by.
You could also have a look at Osmore Pond if you're here at Turtlehead Pond; it's nearby; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a splendid place to get some rest; almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Peacham Pond is just a very short distance away. Turtlehead Pond is a good location of normal rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February.
Turtlehead Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Cream Pot Meadow is right here at Turtlehead Pond, and you can see Burnt Mountain from Turtlehead Pond. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Turtlehead Pond is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, New Discovery Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby; if you're going to from Barre, you won't be the only one.
Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Turtlehead Pond. After a long day outdoors Hollow Inn and Motel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and the Owls Head Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
