Beautiful Turtle Pond has much to offer visitors. Good hiking is available along the Mount Gore Trail. There's so much to do here at Turtle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Char-Bo Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, The Loon Hole is right close by, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Holland Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. | | close by loves skiing at Burke Mountain, and Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a good place to get some rest. There are some great whitewater spots on Clyde River, and Turtle Pond is not the only site close by, Round Pond is a close by lake. Go for a hike on the Mount Pisgah East Trail, and you can stay the night at Char- BO Campground.
