| | This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Barre Montpelier, and nice hiking is available along the Silver Ledge Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Thurman W. Dix Reservoir while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Thurman W. Dix Reservoir are in the 0's. stuff to do near Thurman W. Dix Reservoir. Not far from Thurman W. Dix Reservoir, you'll hit upon Wheeler Pond which is a pretty lake. So much amusing stuff to do at Thurman W. Dix Reservoir, so little time. Hollow Inn and Motel is
a good place to get some rest; Cobble Hill is clearly visible from Thurman W. Dix Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail; camping at Lazy Lions Campground is always a good experience. Thurman
