    Do stop by Thompsons Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. Thompsons Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Acres Campground is a tremendous local campground; at Thompsons Pond you always meet someone from Bennington. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Thompsons Pond highs are commonly in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while Thompsons  
   Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Thompsons Pond Upper Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's in close proximity to Thompsons Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Orchards Hotel.
Just can't get enough of Thompsons Pond. Paddling on Green River is so much fun, and scenic scenery and tremendous skiing is what you obtain at Jiminy Peak. From a precipitation point of view Thompsons Pond is a pretty
 
               common place; all through August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. So many enjoyable things to do at Thompsons Pond, so little time.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is South Stream Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Greylock Ski Club is a delightful location to do that. Thompsons Pond is right by the Taconic Crest Trail, and if you get bored of Thompsons Pond you could also stop by nearby Barber Pond. A perfect place to camp here at Thompsons Pond is Merck Forest Foundation; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Williams Trail.
Get drenched paddling on Walloomsac River; hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail is perfect fun. From Thompsons Pond you get a fine panorama of The Dome, and if you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Williamstown is a magnificent choice.
