Many people like to go to Tabor Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Minister Brook, and after a long day outdoors Inn At Montpelier is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail, and Blue Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Tabor Pond gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most,

| | and February on the other hand is the driest.
Dugar Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and you get a fine view of Hobart Mountain from here. Curtis Pond Dam is worth going to if you're here. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Tabor Pond. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Winooski River; hiking along the Owls Head Trail is good fun.

the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here; camping at Tabor Pond is splendid fun, Green Valley Campground is a splendid local campground. But wait, there's more exciting things to do
in the Green Mountains. Have a great hiking adventure along the Silver Ledge Trail; Tabor Pond is a delightful place to camp, Onion River Campground is a delightful place.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains.
Really splendid skiing awaits you at Stowe; Camp Mead Motor Court is a fine location to get some rest. Throughout the warm months at Tabor Pond temperatures are usually in the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Tabor Pond fall into the 0's.
