That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. nice time. Green Valley Campground is a pleasant local campground, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Wheeler Pond. Onion River Campground is a good campground nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Owls Head Trail. Do
visit Curtis Pond near Tabor Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and Curtis Pond Dam is not far at all from Tabor Pond. At Tabor Pond throughout the summertime highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The
cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the 0's for Tabor Pond. This place, Tabor Pond, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. Tabor Pond is a relatively wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail is always a delightful adventure, and there are plenty of folks from Barre here.
