Sweet Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Dry warm beds await you at Latchis Hotel, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Living Memorial Park is quite near. On a tremendous day at Sweet Pond you can take a hike along the Sunset Trail; Sweet Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Travelers woods Of Ne is a great local campground. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on North River, and there's always Sweet Pond Dam to visit close to Sweet Pond. This place is excellent, just look at all the cool things to do near Sweet Pond. Sweet Pond you discover the Mount Olga Trail which is a good hiking trail, and why not a little side visit to Keets Brook.
At Sweet Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are
in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Sweet Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Gates Hill is clearly visible from Sweet Pond. Green River is a brilliant whitewater spot next to Sweet Pond, and if you came to camp Mohawk Park is a glorious place to do that.
