Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Green River, and camping at Mohawk Park is always a magnificent experience. This lake is so wonderful. Gates Hill is trouble-free to spot from Sweet Pond; Econo Lodge Brattleboro is a nice place
to get some rest. Why not stop by Sweet Pond Dam since you're here, and if you need a place to stay Dalem's Chalet is a tremendous choice. Gotta ski! Living Memorial Park is a nice spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Mount Olga Trail; do take a look at Sweets Pond, it's a wonderful lake.
