A visit to Sunset Lake is always a good idea. There's perfect hiking along the Ghost Trail; drift down the rapids of West River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Sunset Lake typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Sunset Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Rock River is so much fun, and some of the water nearby flows, like Baker Brook. This lake is so wonderful. The
Sunset Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Kenolie Village Campground. Sunset Lake frequently gets a good deal of precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
