Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Green Mountains. You can run the rapids of Clarendon River near Sugar Hollow Pond; there are brilliant places to explore along the New Boston Trail. Summertime at Sugar Hollow Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the       20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Sugar Hollow Pond tend to be in the 0's. All year is a good time in the Green Mountains if you like the outdoors. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Killington, and Brandon Motor Lodge is a magnificent location to get some rest. From a rain point of view Sugar Hollow Pond is a quite normal place; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.                  Going for a hike on the Duval Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes are splendid; Sugar Hollow Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Sugar Hollow Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pico Mountain since you're here, and camping at Country Village Campgrounds is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Sugar Hollow Pond without first going for a hike along the Leicester Hollow Trail, and after a long day outdoors Maple Grove Cottages is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Proctor-Pittsford Country Club; a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Otter Creek. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Sugar Hollow Pond has it all. Here at Sugar Hollow Pond there are plenty of people from Rutland, and from Sugar Hollow Pond you acquire a splendid sight of Cox Mountain. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Furnace Brook while you're here at Sugar Hollow Pond, and Sugar Hollow Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest is a great local campground.
