     The beauty of Sugar Hill Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. The panorama of gorgeous Hogback Mountain near Sugar Hill Reservoir is good, and the slopes of Mad River Glen are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Sugar Hill Reservoir gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains  
   the most, and the driest of the months is February.
There's so much to do here at Sugar Hill Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Moosalamoo Campground is a wonderful place for that; a brilliant nearby hotel is Mountain Top Inn and Resort. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Sugar Hill Reservoir, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Sugar
 
               Hill Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do next to Sugar Hill Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Sucker Brook Trail, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Goshen Dam near Sugar Hill Reservoir.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sugar Hill Reservoir; Windows Trail is a great local trail, and you can run the rapids of New Haven River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pleiad Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Middlebury River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sugar Hill Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at United States Forest Service Mount Moosalamoo Campground.
If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. People from Rutland love to come to Sugar Hill Reservoir. And that's not all there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Barnard Brook is near Sugar Hill Reservoir and is always a joy to check out, as expected you could also stop at Sucker Brook Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Sugarbush is a tremendous local ski area.
