is beautiful and can be spotted from Sucker Brook Reservoir; Sucker Brook Reservoir is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Moosalamoo Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby. For the period of the warmest time of
the year at Sucker Brook Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight
here at Sucker Brook Reservoir. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Green Mountains. There's some flowing water nearby, Barnard Brook is a stream you can have a look at while you're here, and there are some glorious
whitewater spots on Middlebury River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. The skiing at Mad River Glen is glorious, and Sucker Brook Reservoir is a site with many visitors from Rutland. This lake is so wonderful. Dry
warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury, and if you get bored of Sucker Brook Reservoir you could also stop at close by Silver Lake. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Go for a hike on the Mount Moosalamoo

Keewaydin Trail
 | White Rocks,great trail 0.8 miles up. Trails interstect with AT, check map before you go up. Two water falls on the left. First one could be risky to see always a wet gorge. Second is off the AT a short way. At the top is a rock art garden where a sign for White Rocks cliff trail 0.2 to overlook, great view west north and south. The peak was quite higher at one time in the past. Looking down over the cliff edge are three seperate rock falls which is the old peak.... |

Country Village Campgrounds
 | 1 PHOTO Tent Sites, RV Hookups, Pets OK, Fires OK, Store, Nearby Grocery, Pool... - 36 RV hookups... ...always have a delightful time. Getting to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Outdoor recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf at Neshobe Golf Club, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The folks who look after the campground and all the nice pastime activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.
If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's... |
Chittenden Brook Campground
 | Been to Chittenden Brook Campgound for the last 15 years now...Best place I have ever camped anywhere in New England...Great babbling brook, thick woods..and not many camp sites!! This is true rustic camping...the only things offered at the campground is an outhouse and a brook for bathing..(coldest water I've ever been in).. wonderful hiking trails... beautiful beaver pond.... and generally some wonderful people around to sit around a fire with!!... |
