In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Stoughton Pond is one of them. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do close to Stoughton Pond. A wooded area near Stoughton Pond is Weathersfield Municipal Forest. Lakes? Sure, North Springfield Reservoir is close at hand. are in the 80's at Stoughton Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures
at Stoughton Pond dip into the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. You can run the rapids of Black River in close proximity to Stoughton Pond; the slopes of Ascutney are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake
is so wonderful. The Futures Trail is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Stoughton Pond; Springfield Reservoir Dam is a beautiful spot. If the weather is good here at Stoughton Pond, you can go for a hike along the Slot
Trail, and if you're here, you could have a look at North Branch Black River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Hidden Valley Campgrounds is a perfect location to camp, and not far from Stoughton Pond
you'll locate Springfield Reservoir which is a scenic lake. Why not camp at Crown Point Camping Area since you're here at Stoughton Pond, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Williams River. Stoughton Pond is one of the lakes
here in the Green Mountains. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Springfield, Vt is a fine choice.
