    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Stiles Pond. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a wonderful time. Float down the rapids of Moose River in a kayak; Shadow Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. But wait, there's more to do close to Stiles Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is in close proximity to Stiles Pond; while you're here you can take a hike along the Jericho Road Trail. All  
   the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back many times. While you're here at Stiles Pond, you could also pop by pretty Duck Pond, and Stiles Pond Dam is scenic.
Playing golf is lots of fun at St Johnsbury Country Club, and hiking along the Bear Den Trail is glorious fun. There's a forest here at Stiles Pond called Saint Johnsbury Municipal Forest, and while you're here, you might as well have a look at Chesterfield Valley.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Moose River Camp Ground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cobble Hill Trail.
This place, Stiles Pond, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ammonoosuc River, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Motel and Annex. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Stiles Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Campground, and don't forget to take a brilliant little journey to Duck Pond Brook. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
The amount of rainfall that falls at Stiles Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Burke Mountain is perfect; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice. Summertime highs at Stiles Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Stiles Pond tend to be in the 0's.
Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again.

We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
The proprietors, Harry and Sandy Cushing are great hosts. Come join us for a night, a weekend or for the season.
