This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. From a rainfall point of view Stevens Pond is a pretty common place; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. All through the days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Stevens Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights       at Stevens Pond are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Stevens Pond you can take a hike along the Moose Trail, and the peak of Bear Mountain can be observed from Stevens Pond. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. Going for a hike on the Loon Trail is always a great adventure, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Nulhegan River. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The                  Green Mountains is great! Down Home Motel is a fine place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Stevens Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Roger's Campground is a brilliant site for that. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Green Mountains. Everybody close by loves skiing at Bretton Woods; during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Berlin for sure. There is a great hiking trail close to Stevens Pond called the Shore Trail, and you can stay the night at Lancaster Kwik Stop and Truck Stop. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Israel River, and after a long day outdoors Village Motel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
