You need to have a look at Elephants Head if you're here at Sterling Pond, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Stowe Country Club is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Mud City Adventures is a delightful campground nearby. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Green Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Brewster River Campground is a good location       to camp, and Stowe Mountain Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many cool things to do in the Green Mountains, not sufficient time. Going for a hike along the The Long Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Bear Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Morristown Municipal Forest is worth taking a look at; if you wish for a little side                  visit, try Chilcoot Pass. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Stowe is just what you need; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Haselton Trail. Summertime highs at Sterling Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's; the night is fairly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sterling Pond. Big Spring is always fun to check out, and do stop at Lake of the Clouds, it's a wonderful lake. Lots of folks from Barre come to Sterling Pond, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River - West Branch. Sterling Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. Whitewater paddling is great on Lamoille River; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Smugglers Notch is rather near. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. The Sterling Range is a major mark of the area around Sterling Pond; the view of Madonna Peak is wonderful. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Sterling Pond.
