What a nice lake Star Lake is. Star Lake is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Green Mountains. Hedgehog Hill is clearly visible from Star Lake, and Star Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Star Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Trojan Horse Lodge, and do take a hike on the Keewaydin Trail.

| | lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Sugarhouse Campground is a perfect place to camp; if you come at the right time of year, Big Branch offers some great whitewater. The amount of precipitation that falls at Star Lake is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest.

place to get some rest, and soar down the rapids of Mill River in a kayak. The snow is delightful at Okemo, and Star Lake is right by the Utley Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Killington is just what
you need, and camping is available at Plymouth Village Campground.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Michigan Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Rutland. For the period of the
summer highs here at Star Lake reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Star Lake through the wintertime typically drop into the 10's.
