This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lazy Lions Campground is always a pleasant experience; Staples Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Limehurst Lake is a great local campground. And that's not all there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Hollow Inn and Motel, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Limehurst Pond is one of those close by. Just can't       get enough of the Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, White River - First Branch offers some pleasant whitewater, and if you've had enough of Staples Pond, Cutter Pond is nearby. Summertime at Staples Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Staples Pond are in the 0's. And that's not                  all you can do here at Staples Pond. While you're here at Staples Pond you can take a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail, and Williamstown Gulf is another splendid site to stop by nearby. Going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Comfort Inn At Maplewood is a good location to get some rest. Really great skiing awaits you at Twin Farms, and this is a popular site for people from Barre. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Clark Hill is clearly visible from Staples Pond, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Mad River.
