Swamps like Camp Meadows are fun to stop by, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Atwood Trail. What would winter be without some skiing at Haystack; you're sure to stumble upon some good people from Bennington here. Stamford Pond gets a good deal of water; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. | | event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deerfield River - West Branch. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Walloomsac River, and Stamford Valley Golf Course is a good golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn BERKSHIRES is a brilliant choice, and Stamford Pond is not the only spot close by, Mud Pond is a close by lake. You just must adore Stamford Pond. | |
