    Go to Spruce Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Lakes are delightful; Lake Raponda is a lake that's in close proximity to Spruce Lake, and you don’t have to go far from Spruce Lake to catch a sight of the water at Spruce Lake Dam. If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Spruce Lake. You can run the rapids of Green River in close proximity to Spruce Lake, and the trees of Molly Stark State Forest are a tremendous source of shade on hot summer days. This  
   lake is so wonderful. The snow is glorious at Haystack, and Econo Lodge Brattleboro is a wonderful spot to get some rest.
Spruce Lake usually gets a large amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Spruce Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moss Hollow Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount
 
               Olga Trail, and a day on the slopes of Mount Snow is just what you need.
For the period of the summer at Spruce Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spruce Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Not far from Spruce Lake, you'll find Wilmington Reservoir which is a scenic lake, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Deerfield River. There's brilliant hiking along the Deerfield Ridge Trail; Spruce Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Country Aire Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground.
Go for a hike on the Ghost Trail, and if you need a location to stay Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a good choice.
