Silver Lake is in the vicinity; if you come at the right time of year, Middlebury River offers some good whitewater. Hit the slopes at Pico Mountain around here, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Leicester Hollow Trail. Camping is available at Point Counterpoint, and Sugarbush is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. that's not all you can do here at Spring Pond. Spring Pond is not the only location nearby, Fern Lake is a nearby lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail. After a long day outdoors
Mountain Top Inn and Resort is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and the Silver Lake Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Spring Pond; August is the month that gets the
most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Lion Hill is a peak you can see from Spring Pond, and why not take a little spree to Leicester Hollow Brook since you're here. The Green Mountains scenery
is always beautiful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Green Mountains has to offer. Summertime at Spring Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the
50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Spring Pond are in the 0's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Spring Pond has to offer. People from Rutland love to come to Spring Pond; while you're here you can play some golf at Neshobe Golf Club.
