    Many people like to go to Spring Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. The Silver Lake Trail offers hiking at its best; Mountain Top Inn and Resort is a good location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Spring Pond has to offer, you can camp at Country Village Campgrounds; the sight of lovely Lion Hill is glorious. All through the days of summer at Spring Pond temperatures are ordinarily  
   in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Spring Pond temperatures descend to the 0's.
Spring Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Pico Mountain is just what you need; you're in all probability addicted
 
               to lakes, Fern Lake is one of those nearby. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Don't leave Spring Pond without first going for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail, and why not take a little trip to Leicester Hollow Brook if you're here.
There are plenty of people from Rutland here at Spring Pond; after a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a great spot to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Spring Pond rules! Near Spring Pond you come across a golf course called Neshobe Golf Club, and you can stay the night at Point Counterpoint. Swamps like Smalley Swamp right next door to Spring Pond make for wonderful spots to stop by, and paddling on Otter Creek is so much fun.
Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Green Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugarbush is right next door to Spring Pond, and there's magnificent hiking along the Leicester Hollow Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Middlebury River; if you've had enough of Spring Pond, Burnell Pond is close by.
