Spring Lake is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Camping is available at Night Eagle Wilderness; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Wallingford Municipal Forest. Spring Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
And that's not everything you

can do here in the Green Mountains. Paddling on Mill River is so much fun, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Killington. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Rutland, and there are plenty of folks from Rutland here at Spring Lake. Man, is there loads of cool things to do near Spring Lake. Lakes? Sure, Wallingford Pond is in the neighborhood, and Pico Mountain is a very popular ski area close by.
So much cool stuff in the

Green Mountains, just incredible. Get soaked paddling on Big Branch, and nearby you hit upon the Green Mountain Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Through the warm days of summer at Spring Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Spring Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Spring Lake is close to Clarendon Gorge which is certainly worth checking out, and if the weather is delightful, you get a brilliant panorama of Bear Mountain from Spring Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn RUTLAND-KILLINGTON AREA is a good spot to get some rest, and there are other places here than Spring Lake, for example Cooks Pond. On a splendid day at Spring Lake you can take a hike along the Keewaydin Trail; near Spring Lake you locate a golf course called Stonehedge Golf Course.
