    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Spring Lake. Spring Lake is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. And that's not all you can do here at Spring Lake. You completely must adore the Green Mountains. Some great nature is available in Wallingford Municipal Forest. There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Iroquois Land Family Campground is a glorious place for that.
From a precipitation point of view Spring
 
   Lake is a rather normal spot; during August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. If you came to camp Iroquios Land Family is a nice site to do that; close by you find Clarendon Gorge which is a good spot to take a look at. You're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Rutland here, and there are great places to discover along the Keewaydin Trail.
Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Whitewater
 
               paddling is great on Big Branch, and after a long day outdoors Country Squire Motel is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Pico Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Stonehedge Golf Course; the top of Bear Mountain is easily distinguished from Spring Lake.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area right next door to Spring Lake has to offer. Don't leave Spring Lake without first going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail; a pleasant close by hotel is Rock Garden Cottages. For the duration of the warm months at Spring Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Spring Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Go for a hike on the Homer Stone Trail; fine skiing awaits you at Killington.
