SPECTACLE POND IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. IT HAS A RAILROAD RUNNING THROUGH SOME OF THE BOUNDRIES AND THE LAND ACROSS FROM THE BRIGHTON STATE PARK IS JUST A GREAT PLUS. THE VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL Says SUSAN
Near Spectacle Pond is a good 13-mile-in-length part of whitewater on Nulhegan River, a grade III-IV, this is the East Brighton Bridge to Connecticut River segment. The East Brighton Bridge to Connecticut River segment of Nulhegan River is appropriate for raft
paddlers who have been whitewater boating for some time but who are not yet ready for the incredibly risky rapids. A nice 21-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater segment on Clyde River is close by.
