Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Hiking along the Shore Trail is splendid fun; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nulhegan River. Spectacle Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground, and not far from Spectacle Pond you'll hit upon Back Pond which is a lovely lake. Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Lyndon Outing Club has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Beecher Pond. The annual precipitation here
