It's always fun to stop by South Village Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Hiking along the Baker Peak Trail is magnificent fun; a brilliant panorama of lovely Mount Aeolus is available. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a delightful place to do that; perfect skiing awaits you at Bromley. For the duration of the summer months here at South Village Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the

| | 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at South Village Pond through the winter usually sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Manchester View Fine Lodging, and a striking lake like Bullhead Pond is a fine place to visit. on Roaring Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and there's some flowing water nearby, Little Mad Tom Brook is a stream you can visit while here. South Village Pond is right by the Lake Trail, and Equinox Country Club is a golf
course close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Do stop at Pickerel Pond near South Village Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at South Village
Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mad Tom Trail; if you need a place to stay Inns at the Equinox is a splendid choice. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a brilliant time. There are some splendid whitewater
spots on Big Branch, and lots of people from Bennington come here. South Village Pond is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Skiing at Snow Valley
is one of those things you just ought to do, and South Village Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Campground C is a tremendous local campground.
