What a nice lake South Stream Pond is. There are great places to discover along the Taconic Crest Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Jiminy Peak. Going for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Old Stage Trail, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Midtown Motel. here. Float down the rapids of Green River in a kayak, and there are other places here than South Stream Pond, for example Barber Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Very glorious water scenery is available at South Stream Dam close
to South Stream Pond, and South Stream Pond is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Shady Acres Campground is a fine location to camp nearby. At South Stream Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's.
Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at South Stream Pond descend into the 0's. Be careful coming to
South Stream Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. Roaring Branch flows through this vicinity; for you golfers we recommend nearby MT Anthony Country Club.
