    Do stop by South Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. The slopes of Haystack are so inviting nobody can resist; Kenolie Village Campground is a glorious local campground. High temperatures at South Pond throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for South Pond tend to be  
   in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from South Pond, you'll come across Sunset Lake which is a wonderful lake, and Chase Hill is painless to spot from South Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brattleboro, Vt, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Ghost Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River,
 
               and the Mount Olga Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. A quick visit to Pond Brook in the neighborhood of South Pond is a magnificent idea, and Econo Lodge Brattleboro is a great place to get some rest.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at South Pond. Any time is a great time at South Pond if you adore the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay Moss Hollow Campground is a brilliant place to camp. Lakes are magnificent; Deer Park Pond is a lake that's near South Pond. At Hidden Lake Dam close to South Pond there are some interesting things to see; close by you find the Sunset Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
South Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is February. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Living Memorial Park, and Rock River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby.

... also wish to somehow reduce population which is nearly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water affecting the fish in numerous ways. I'm just a local catch and release fisherman who has left home to make a difference at home and around the world. as for the natural gas emissions problems, I'm not so worried about that (though its still a worry) to me its more important to focus on my previous exerpt as that affects the later exponentially. If you go to Indian Pond in June, your likely to see it surrounded by the pink flowers of Mountain Laurel. It's very pretty. Mine Ledge to the West and East Hill to the East. It's a rugged hike up Mine Ledge,and a quarter mile more to a spectacular seventy foot ledge dropoff. Great views to the south of the Connecticut River, meandering southward. This is one of my favorite places ever....
