It's always fun to stop by South Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Having a good time in the Green Mountains is simple. Good hiking is available along the Canty Trail, and you could always discover The Elbow. South Pond gets a typical amount of rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

| | here at South Pond, and you can take a little visit to Lefferts Dam if you're here at South Pond. If you get bored of South Pond, you could also stop by close by Lefferts Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Edelweiss Motel. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at South Pond. Daves Peak is clearly visible from South Pond, and you can go for a hike on the South Pond Trail.

phenomenal. There's so much to do here at South Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest is a good place for that; get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Clarendon River.
The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All through the long summer days here at South Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime
come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at South Pond are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Killington is right next door to South Pond, and South Pond is not far at all
from Rutland. The snow is great at Pico Mountain, and there's whitewater on Mill River for all you thrill seekers. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around South Pond; Circle
Trail is a pleasant local trail, and if you're here and you like golf, you can explore White River Golf Course.
Stay the night at Chittenden Brook Campground, and if you need a site to stay Cortina Inn And Resort is a pleasant choice.
