    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Somerset Reservoir. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Deerfield River - East Branch, and do take a hike on the Deerfield Trail. Somerset Reservoir is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; August is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. Somerset  
   Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Snow is next to Somerset Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Inns at the Equinox is a pleasant choice. This is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Searsburg Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Deerfield Ridge
 
               Trail, and Haystack is a wonderful local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Somerset Reservoir is near Somerset Dam which is a scenic spot beyond doubt worth taking a look at, and camping at Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is always a great experience. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Somerset Reservoir. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Deerfield River.
If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Green Mountains. Somerset Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Red Mill Brook Campground is a splendid local campground, and you'll meet a lot of people from Bennington here. At Somerset Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Somerset Reservoir.
