Sodom Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Sodom Pond is a reasonably wet place usually with much precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. There's so much to do here at Sodom Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Green Valley Campground is a good site for that, and going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail       will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Sodom Pond has it all. If the weather is fine here at Sodom Pond, you can go for a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Montpelier; Crystal Pool is a great lake nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Sodom Pond. Gotta ski! Stowe                  is a good location to do that, and a delightful forest close by is Calais Town Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Sodom Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Onion River Campground is a wonderful local campground, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Barre for sure. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Winooski River, and the Owls Head Trail is a good hiking trail close by. All year is a glorious time in the Green Mountains if you adore the outdoors. If you need a site to stay Hilltop Inn is a magnificent choice. Lakes? Sure, Adamant Pond is nearby. For the period of the warm months here at Sodom Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's, and night lows in the 0's for Sodom Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a fine little tour to Beaver Meadow Brook, and Blackberry Hill can be spotted from Sodom Pond.
