If you are traveling by, why not stop by Sodom Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. So much cool stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too great to be true. The slopes of Stowe are so inviting noone can resist; you'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Kettle Pond Trail, and Onion River Campground is a delightful campground here.

| | place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Sodom Pond is Winooski River, and if you came for an overnight stay Green Valley Campground is a fine site to camp. All year is a brilliant time in the Green Mountains if you love the outdoors. At Adamant Pond Dam in the vicinity of Sodom Pond there are some exciting things to see; from Sodom Pond you get a great panorama of Blackberry Hill. There's some flowing water close by, Beaver Meadow Brook is a stream you can pop by during your stay; there's great hiking along the Silver Ledge Trail. Summertime highs at Sodom Pond commonly tend to be in the 60's,
and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 10's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Sodom Pond tend to be in the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sodom Pond;
Owls Head Trail is a great local trail; if you need a spot to stay Camp Mead Motor Court is a good choice.
Sodom Pond ordinarily gets lots of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
