Many people like to go to Sodom Pond. Sodom Pond is located in the Green Mountains. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Minister Brook; you're probably into lakes, Nelson Pond is one of those close by. High temperatures at Sodom Pond throughout the days of summer are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 10's, and after the sun is down

This lake is so wonderful. The snow is glorious at Stowe, and if you came to camp Onion River Campground is a delightful location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Adamant Pond Dam is a pretty place in the neighborhood of Sodom Pond, and a perfect forest nearby is Calais Town Forest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sodom Pond; Silver Ledge Trail is a glorious local trail, and Winooski River is a splendid whitewater spot
close by. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. At Sodom Pond you can make out Blackberry Hill, and after a long day outdoors Hilltop Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or
two. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Looking for something in the vicinity of Sodom Pond? Crystal Pool is in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Sodom Pond that
you need to camp here for a while, Green Valley Campground is a splendid spot for that.
Sodom Pond gets a great deal of water; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Take a side
tour to Beaver Meadow Brook, and glorious hiking is available along the Kettle Pond Trail. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sodom Pond. If you're visiting Sodom Pond from Barre, you won't be the only one.
