Skylight Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Moosalamoo Campground is a tremendous place to camp; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mad River Glen. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Green Mountains. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go

| | whitewater paddling on New Haven River, and don't leave Skylight Pond without first going for a hike along the Burnt Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at United States Forest Service Mount Moosalamoo Campground; Middlebury River is a nice whitewater spot close by. month with the least moisture. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Skylight Pond. Battell Mountain is pretty and can be spotted from Skylight Pond, and going for a hike on the Skylight Pond Trail is
always a tremendous adventure. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Green Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Blueberry Hill Inn, and there are fine sites to discover along the Emily Proctor Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. Sugarbush is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and if you need a spot to stay Chipman Inn is a good choice. For the period of the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Skylight Pond. For the duration
of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Skylight Pond throughout the winter frequently plunge into the 0's.
