Beautiful Simonds Reservoir has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn, and camping at Pine Valley Resort Campground is always a fine experience. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Bloods Brook. Lakes are glorious; Lower Hurricane Reservoir is a lake that's close to Simonds Reservoir. Be careful coming to Simonds Reservoir, you might not ever want to return home again. The panorama of Clay Hill from Simonds Reservoir is stunning, and nearby you locate the Slot Trail which is a fine hiking trail. If you came to camp Maple Leaf Motel and Campground is a splendid location to do that, and do stop at Wright Reservoir Dam if you're here. and if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Carter Country Club.
This lake is so wonderful. Kilburn Brook flows through this region, and Super 8 Motel - White River Junction is a great place to get some rest. On
a fine day at Simonds Reservoir you can take a hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Ascutney. Simonds Reservoir is not far at all from Lebanon, and the Futures
Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
At Simonds Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the
20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Simonds Reservoir. An average amount of rainfall falls at Simonds Reservoir; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest of the months is February.
