After a long day outdoors North Star Lodge is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; a nice close by hotel is The Woodstock Inn & Resort. There are brilliant places to discover along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Twin Farms. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. You can take a little trip to Silver Lake Dam since you're here       at Silver Lake, and camping at Silver Lake Family Campground is always a wonderful experience. At Silver Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Silver Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Silver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. All the outdoors cool stuff near Silver Lake will keep you                  coming back again and again. Going for a hike on the Barnard Trail is always a great adventure, and there's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline kick people. All year is a brilliant time in the Green Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Nearby The Gulf is a brilliant site to go if you're at Silver Lake, and if you've had enough of Silver Lake, Lakota Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the Juggernaut Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Suicide Six. A delightful site to camp here at Silver Lake is Silver Lake State Park, needless to say you could also take a look at Line Pond since you're here; it's not far at all.
