Why not stop by Silver Lake if you're passing through these parts. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Silver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Grove Campground is a nice location for that, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn & Suites St. Albans. | | of the months is January. Summertime highs at Silver Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Silver Lake throughout the wintertime mostly dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's delightful hiking along the North Shore Trail, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge St. Albans is a perfect choice. Go for a hike on | |

the Island Farm Nature Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Browns River. Why not stop at Silver Lake Dam if you're here, and a good sight of pretty Cushman Hill is available. Bolton Valley has good slopes and a friendly
staff, and if you came to camp Homestead Campgrounds is a magnificent place to do that. You'll meet a lot of folks from Burlington-South Burlington here, and don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the Southern
Tip Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. Beaver Meadow Brook is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and Arrowhead Golf Course is a great golf course close
by. There are some fine whitewater spots on Mill Brook, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Cochran Ski Center.
