Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Fern Lake which is small and pristine. At this campground you will always have a delightful time. Getting to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Outdoor recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf at Neshobe Golf Club, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The folks who look after the campground and all the nice pastime activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.
If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure.  | 10 miles away Been to Chittenden Brook Campgound for the last 15 years now...Best place I have ever camped anywhere in New England...Great babbling brook, thick woods..and not many camp sites!! This is true rustic camping...the only things offered at the campground is an outhouse and a brook for bathing..(coldest water I've ever been in).. wonderful hiking trails... beautiful beaver pond.... and generally some wonderful people around to sit around a fire with!!... |
