     Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Silver Lake is one of them. Silver Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Take a side tour to Barnard Brook, and Silver Lake Dam is scenic. You completely ought to go for Silver Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Silver Lake; Chandler Ridge Trail is a good local trail, and a trip to Silver Lake  
   wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Falls of Lana.
This lake is so wonderful. The top of Mount Moosalamoo is easily seen from Silver Lake, and paddling on Middlebury River is so much fun. During the warm months highs here at Silver Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Silver Lake temperatures
 
               fall to the 0's. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Skiing at Mad River Glen is one of those things you just have to do.
Here at Silver Lake there are plenty of folks from Rutland, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Dunmore is just a very short distance away. Silver Lake is located in the Green Mountains. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Silver Lake. A glorious spot to camp here at Silver Lake is United State Forest Service Silver Lake Campground, and brilliant hiking is available along the Silver Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Otter Creek, and if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Neshobe Golf Club. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Green Mountains. After a long day outdoors Churchill House Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; why not camp at Moosalamoo Campground while you're here at Silver Lake. If you need a place to stay Blueberry Hill Inn is a great choice, and while you're here at Silver Lake, checking out Rattlesnake Point is a must.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Very delightful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Sugarbush, and the Falls of Lana Trail offers hiking at its best.
