Shippee Pond is a glorious lake next to Shippee Pond, and the Ghost Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Jacksonville Pond in close proximity to Shippee Pond, and a day on the slopes of Haystack is just what you need. Mount Snow Condominiums is a fine spot to get some       rest, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Shippee Pond Dam close to Shippee Pond. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do next to Shippee Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort, and paddling on Deerfield River is so much fun. Take a hike on the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and the skiing at Mount Snow is nice. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Shippee Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend                  down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Shippee Pond. If you're here at Shippee Pond, you could go to Burton Brook. Shippee Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout November while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
