     Sherman Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Sherman Dam is a place that is next to Sherman Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deerfield Ridge Trail. Sherman Reservoir gets a good deal of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Country Aire Campgrounds is a good site to camp; a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Deerfield  
   River.
So many exciting things to do here at Sherman Reservoir, too fine to be true. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mount Snow, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pelham Brook. Throughout the days of summer at Sherman Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights
 
               at Sherman Reservoir are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side journey to Dunbar Brook, and after a long day outdoors Readsboro Inn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two.
Hit the slopes at Haystack nearby; Sherman Reservoir is right by the Kelly Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's a perfect forest close to Sherman Reservoir called Martha's Vineyard State Forest, and if you need a location to stay Whitcomb Summit Motel Resort is a great choice. Shady Pines Campground is a tremendous campground here; the Dunbar Brook Trail offers hiking at its best.
A lake close by is Deerfield River Reservoir.
