     So much cool stuff to do at Shadow Pond, so little time. There are plenty of people from Barre here at Shadow Pond. So many cool things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Glide down the rapids of Winooski River in a kayak, and a striking lake like Buck Lake is a splendid site to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Shadow Pond you can enjoy the trees of Woodbury Town Forest; don't leave Shadow Pond without first going for a hike along  
   the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop.
The Inn at Montpelier is a brilliant place to get some rest; there are magnificent locations to explore along the Owls Head Trail. Just can't get enough of Shadow Pond. Going for a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Barre Montpelier is a great choice. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. It's always wonderful to have a look at Blake
 
               Falls, and an afternoon playing golf at Woodbury Golf Course is always a bliss.
Throughout the summertime months highs here at Shadow Pond reach the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Shadow Pond. Shadow Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Idle Hours Campground is a delightful local campground; hey, Buck Lake Brook is a perfect local stream. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not visit Greenwood Lake near Shadow Pond; a wonderful place to camp here at Shadow Pond is Spooners Trailer Park and Campground.
Shadow Pond gets a great deal of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Lamoille River - Wild Branch offers some brilliant whitewater, and the top of Round Knoll is easily spotted from Shadow Pond.

Hmm? Jay Peak seems like it has two peaks, shouldn't it be called Jay Peaks? But other than the confusing name I have no complaints. Lots of good runs....
