In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Shadow Lake is one of them. But wait, there's more to do near Shadow Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Shadow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rustic Haven Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Moose River offers some glorious whitewater. Burke Mountain is a tremendous local ski area. There's so much to do here at Shadow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Breezy Meadows Campground is a fine spot for that. a good hiking trail, needless to say you could also explore Moore Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Through the warm months here at Shadow Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and through the night
it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Shadow Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Shadow Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and February
meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Fuller Hill is a peak you can catch a sight of from Shadow Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is relatively near. If you need a place to stay
Hampton Inn Littleton, NH is a good choice; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Reynolds Pond is just a very short distance away. Going for a hike on the Jericho Road Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and a brilliant close by hotel is Ammonoosuc Inn.
