Ammonoosuc Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest, and if you came to camp Rustic Haven Campground is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Shadow Lake; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Ammonoosuc River is a splendid       whitewater spot next to Shadow Lake, and going for a hike on the Jericho Road Trail is always a perfect adventure. After a long day outdoors Eastgate Motor Inn And Restaurant is a great place to spend a night or two; nearby you come across the Bear Den Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This place, Shadow Lake, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Here at Shadow Lake you can see Fuller Hill, and                  you can go for a hike on the Cobble Hill Trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is unbeatable! You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lyndon Outing Club since you're here, and skiing at Burke Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more fun things to do here in the Green Mountains. You can run the rapids of Moose River near Shadow Lake; Shadow Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Breezy Meadows Campground is a fine local campground. For the period of the summer at Shadow Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, frequently in the 50's.
