Many people like to go to Seymour Lake. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Burke Mountain; you can run the rapids of Clyde River. There are delightful locations to look at along the Mount Pisgah Trail. If you need a location to stay Holiday Motel and Annex is a great choice, and don't leave Seymour Lake without first going for a hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Through

White Caps Campground is a good local campground. An average amount of precipitation falls at Seymour Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
Seymour Lake is not the only place close by, Toad Pond is a close by lake, and don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Allyn Brook. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Green
Mountains. Why not camp at Will-o-wood Campground since you're here at Seymour Lake; the summit of Deer Hill can be seen from Seymour Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would
be. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a great spot to spend a night or two, unsurprisingly you could also visit Long Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Lyndon Outing Club; Barton River is a great whitewater spot close by.
