Seymour Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. So many cool things in the Green Mountains, just incredible. The snow is perfect at Burke Mountain; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Mount Pisgah Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at White Caps Campground, and after a long       day outdoors Holiday Motel and Annex is a delightful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Deer Hill is clearly visible from Seymour Lake, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail. Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a great location to get some rest, and Seymour Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Will-o-wood Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby. Seymour Lake                  is located in the Green Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains. Why not stop at close by Allyn Brook since you're here at Seymour Lake, and a day on the slopes of Lyndon Outing Club is just what you need. Echo Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail. This place, Seymour Lake, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A lake close by is Mud Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Barton River. Get covered with water paddling on Clyde River.
