    Why not stop by Searsburg Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. Searsburg Reservoir gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls throughout August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came to camp Country Aire Campgrounds is a fine spot to do that; why not a little side visit to Bond Brook. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Searsburg Reservoir you can take a hike along the Kelly Camp Trail;  
   if you need a site to stay The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a good choice.
Gotta ski! Haystack is a great spot to do that, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Deerfield Ridge Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A lake close by is Somerset Reservoir; get yourself into a kayak and hit Deerfield River. There's so much to do here at Searsburg Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Red Mill Brook Campground is a
 
               perfect place for that, and people from Bennington love to come here.
This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Sleepy Hollow is always fun, and if you come at the right time of year, Deerfield River - East Branch offers some tremendous whitewater. Why not check out Searsburg Dam if you're here; dry warm beds await you at Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort. What would winter be without some skiing at Mount Snow.
For the duration of the months of summer here at Searsburg Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Searsburg Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
