Lewis Creek is a delightful whitewater spot near Scott Pond, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Abbey Pond Trail. There's so much to do here at Scott Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Old Lantern Campground is a splendid site for that, and a pretty lake like Shelburne Pond is a delightful spot to pop by. | | get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Scott Pond has it all. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Shelburne/Burlington is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend close by Cedar Knoll Country Club. A splendid close by hotel is T-Bird Motor Inn, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on New Haven River. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Mount Fuller can be distinguished from Scott Pond; going for a hike on the Beaver Meadow Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Shelburne Camping Area is a great
spot to do that; there are brilliant spots to explore along the Jerusalem Trail. Cedar Lake is a perfect lake in close proximity to Scott Pond, and skiing at Cochran Ski Center is one of those things you just ought to do. For the
period of the warmest time of the year here at Scott Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's while Scott Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
