This lake is so wonderful. A great location close to Schofield Pond is Devils Gap, and not far from Schofield Pond you'll discover Rush Pond which is a delightful lake. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Very wonderful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Stowe, and on a great day you can take a hike along the The Long Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Green Mountains has to offer. Mountain View

| | Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and if you need a place to stay Commodores Inn is a pleasant choice. Stay the night at Lakeview Camping Area, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Lamoille River - Wild Branch. Wiley Brook is near Schofield Pond and is always a diversion to stop by, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. catch a sight of Bean Mountain; Green River Dam is not far at all from Schofield Pond. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area right next door to Schofield Pond has to offer. You'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Smugglers Notch since you're here; you can run the rapids of Gihon River. Schofield Pond is a place with many visitors from Barre, and there are other locations here than Schofield Pond, for example Green
River Reservoir. Schofield Pond regularly gets a lot of rain; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can
do here at Schofield Pond. The Haselton Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Schofield Pond; Beaver Meadow is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
