At Sawdust Pond during the warm months highs are in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Sawdust Pond descend into the 0's. the right time of year, Clyde River offers some great whitewater. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. The slopes of Lyndon Outing Club are so inviting noone can resist. There's so much to do here at Sawdust
Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a splendid spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. The Mount Pisgah Trail is a great hiking trail close to Sawdust Pond, and at Sawdust Pond you can see Job Mountain.
