If you need a site to stay Highlander Motel is a good choice; going for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. | | view of Grandpa Knob, and the trees of Proctor Village Municipal Forest are a delightful source of shade on hot summer days. All through the warm days of summer at Sargent Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarendon River. Rodeway Inn Rutland is a great place to get some rest; do take a hike on the Duval Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Sargent Pond is not the only site close by, Beaver Pond is a close by lake; why not camp at Smoke Rise Family Campground if you're here at Sargent Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Proctor-Pittsford Country
Club, and a day on the slopes of Pico Mountain is just what you need. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Otter Creek; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. There's no way anybody can get
bored here in the Green Mountains. A tremendous spot to camp here at Sargent Pond is Country Village Campgrounds, and Sargent Pond is a location with many visitors from Rutland. Sargent Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains.
From a rain point of view Sargent Pond is a rather common place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
