In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Salem is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Balm of Gilead Beach; a great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area. Bates Hill is gorgeous and can be spotted from Lake Salem, and if you came for an overnight stay Chargo Campground is a tremendous site to camp. Barton River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Char- BO Campground is a great campground

An average amount of rain falls at Lake Salem; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of Lake Salem. Getting to Coche Brook from Lake Salem is easy. Lakes are pleasant; Little Salem Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Lake Salem. Go for a hike on the Mount Pisgah East Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby | |

Very wonderful scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Burke Mountain. All through the summer at Lake Salem temperatures are mostly in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this
place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Lake Salem tend to be in the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Mount Pisgah Trail; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Clyde River.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Pisgah Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Newport Country Club is a good golf course nearby.
