Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Poultney River, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Half Moon Pond Trail. Said Dam is not far at all from Said Pond, and swamps are attention-grabbing locations and Beaver Meadow in the neighborhood of Said Pond is no exception. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Said Pond. Halfmoon Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and close by you discover the Bomoseen Hiking Loop which is a perfect hiking trail.
