Ryder Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Country Aire Campgrounds is a glorious location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a great site to spend a night or two, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Olga Trail. | | rest; camping is available at Moss Hollow Campground. During the warm months at Ryder Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Ryder Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Lakes? is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Ryder Pond you can take a hike along the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Deerfield River. The snow is glorious at Haystack, and you can have
a great hiking adventure along the Ghost Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Snow is right next door to Ryder Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Spruce Lake. Ryder
Pond is a pretty wet place frequently with a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water affecting the fish in numerous ways.
