If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Round Pond. Round Pond is a good site of common rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. Throughout the summertime, highs commonly are in the 70's at Round Pond; the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Round Pond. You just can't picture

While you're here at Round Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Pisgah East Trail, and camping is available at Char-Bo Campground. - Derby/Newport Area. Not far from Round Pond, you'll locate Turtle Pond which is a wonderful lake. The Mount Gore Trail is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Round Pond; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Nulhegan
River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Duck Pond is a lake that's close to Round Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clyde River.
