This lake is so wonderful. Clyde River is a fine whitewater spot close to Round Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Random House. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Round Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Round Pond is right by the Mount Pisgah East Trail, and Fireside Campground is a splendid campground       here. Take a hike on the Pisgah Trail; if you need a location to stay Clyde River Hotel is a delightful choice. You could also explore Beaver Pond since you're here at Round Pond; it's close by; camping at Round Pond is delightful fun, Char- BO Campground is a delightful local campground. High temperatures at Round Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place                  gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Round Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. So much cool stuff near Round Pond, completely unbelievable.
