There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Char- BO Campground is a perfect spot for that, and you can hit the slopes at Burke Mountain close by. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Round Pond get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows in the       0's for Round Pond. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Round Pond. There is a great hiking trail near Round Pond called the Mount Gore Trail. On a nice day at Round Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Pisgah East Trail, and glide down the rapids of Nulhegan River in a kayak. A wonderful close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area, and Round Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Char-Bo Campground                  is a great local campground. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Round Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
