Homestead Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground, and there's whitewater on Browns River for all you thrill seekers. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of       Mill Brook, and an afternoon playing golf at Arrowhead Golf Course is always a pleasure. From a precipitation point of view Round Pond is a rather normal spot; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while January is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Round Pond without first going for a hike along the Island Farm Nature Trail, and the view of Diamond Hill is beautiful. During the warm months highs here at                  Round Pond get into the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Round Pond. You clearly must go for Round Pond. A lake nearby is Round Pond, and the North Shore Trail offers hiking at its best. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
