Round Pond is a nice lake to visit. From a rain point of view Round Pond is a quite normal location; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Lone Pine Campsites, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn. All through the days of summer at Round Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. Through the winter
this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Round Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Peterson Dam is a wonderful place close to Round Pond, and do take a hike on the North Shore Trail. This place
is so good, just look at all the exciting stuff to do next to Round Pond. A brilliant site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Round Pond is Mill Brook, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Pond; Island Farm Nature Trail is a magnificent local trail.
